A friend of mine came up from Louisville, Kentucky for the weekend. She has never been to any kind of Scottish anything so this was a good way to introduce Scottish culture.
It poured Friday night, sheets of rain, but by the time we arrived to set up, the grass was only slightly damp although there were standing puddles and we had to modify the parade of clans to avoid some sections of mud on the grounds.
